Our online booking system makes it easy to book your appointment according to your schedule by seeing the Chiropodists availability. Alternatively, our staff are available during business hours to book your appointment and answer any additional questions you may have.
If this is your first visit, please select the “Initial Visit” appointment. You will be able to book with Sonia Maragoni or Will Stewart. You will be sent a link to set up your profile and fill out our online paperwork. If you are booking a return visit for regular footcare, wart treatment or orthotics and have been to the clinic in the last 3 years please book accordingly. If you have not been to see us in 4 years or more, welcome back! – We need you to book a Re-assessment.
We will adjust your appointment accordingly, if we will require more time with you or the appointment is a different cost from the one you booked – we will make sure to contact you as soon as possible to notify you.
Our Chiropodist will perform a full assessment of your lower legs and feet, including skin, nail, muscles, joints, & circulation. Having a detailed patient history will help effectively create a treatment plan for your foot concerns. During your appointment your Chiropodist will ask you questions about your concerns to understand your issue. You will then receive an overall foot assessment so that the Chiropodist and can help you understand what is occurring with your feet and create a treatment plan. You will also receive treatment at this appointment and all options will be discussed.
Our health changes over the years and if we haven’t seen you through this time, we have no knowledge of your health and medical changes. It is very important for us to have updated and current information in order to help treat you.
Chiropody Services in Ontario are not covered by OHIP, but are covered by most Third Party Insurance, Extended Health Care Plans & Veterans’ Affairs, and/or can be used for income tax health deduction purposes. Chiropodists and Podiatrists are the ONLY recognized Foot Specialists in Ontario.
Our clinic does not offer direct billing to your insurance company. However; the are limited insurance companies that do allow us to submit your regular visits on your behalf after we receive full payment. For companies that we are unable to submit to on your behalf, we will provide you receipts with all the information needed by your private insurance company.
Please note: we are unable to submit for orthotics or surgeries on your behalf, we will provide you with all necessary paperwork.
You may be able to claim your visits as a medical expense during your yearly income tax submission. If you have lost your receipts, please let us know and we can provide you a copy of your yearly statement.
Please make sure to contact your insurance company for your coverage prior to your visit.
Our clinic is located on the corner of Church Street North and Dominion Street. We are North of the TD Bank and BMO & across the street from Cuties & Patooties Childcare, formally known as “The Old Beer Store.”
There is parking in front of our clinic, please do not park in the tenant parking. If you are unable to park in front of the clinic there is free parking in the lot east of the clinic behind the Butter Factory.
We kindly ask that you review the office policies which state that if you are late or do not show up for your appointment, you will be automatically billed $25.00 for a missed appointment. We understand that life happens and we can sometimes double book ourselves; however, we would appreciate that once you have booked an appointment with us, you keep that commitment as we have many patients often on a waitlist who could be seen.
